This course is the next level of Digital Logic which was taken in Semester 1. However, I find that this course is much more interesting because the contents are exactly what I have wanted to learn and know more about. Particular contents that I have interests in are Assembly language, memory management, storage technology, and other elements that make up the specification of a computer. How these elements work are knowledge that I have intention to build on so that I could work more efficiently with them – not just a programmer who controls memory usages, but also as a system administrator who understands and makes full use of storage with reference to technology the storage are built with.
This course often makes relation to Data Structure because of the Assembly language. By bringing in a higher-level language to correlate with Assembly language, we were able to understand the concepts much easier.
