NUS Electrical Engineering Module Review: EE1001 Emerging Trends in Electrical Engineering

I have no freaking idea what the aim of this module is. Basically this module includes 4 hours worth of lectures on 4 main EE related fields each such as power and energy, micro/nanotechnology, bio-medical and robotics and artificial intelligence. The number of students going to the lectures follows a -lnx + c graph. I personally go to EE1001 lectures to stone. Aside from two 20% MCQs (which is super important), the bulk of the graded part goes to the final presentation of a Grand Challenge and a written report on that challenge. It’s practically JC project work coated in the sour caramel of EE. You’ll be graded on both your presentation abilities and your EE content.
