NUS Math Module Review: MA3215 Three-dimensional Differential Geometry

This course does not require too much background and I will review them whenever necessary.

However there are a few important topics which are absolutely indispensable but require too much time.

I will assume that all students in this course are familiar them. The list of topics are:

1. Open and closed subsets of the 2 and 3 dimensional planes.

2. Continuous multi-variable functions.

3. Partial differentiations and chain rules.

4. Orthogonal diagonalization of symmetric matrices.

5. Inner product spaces.
