Cognitive Psychology can be broadly categorised into 3 categories: information processing system (perception, attention and memory), representation and organisation of knowledge (imagery and semantic categorisation and organisation) and complex cognitive skills (language, problem-solving and decision making).
Prof Hon comes across as chill and can be quite humorous at times. He has a very pleasant voice and is clear and concised in his explanations which I appreciate especially since some of the concepts can get quite technical. He emphasizes the “big picture” areas of a particular topic to give you a broad understanding and he often ends his lectures 15 mins earlier (lol). His slides are quite sparse (some of his slides just consist of a single diagram) so you have to pay attention and fill in the details accordingly. He is also open to questions from students and replies quite quickly to emails.
